Northwestern University in Qatar (NU-Q) seeks and attracts students from around the Gulf Region and the world who have excelled in academics and extracurricular activities throughout their pre-college careers. Admission is competitive.
Fall 2016 admission
The application deadline for Fall 2016 admission was February 1, 2016.
Final admission decisions take a number of different factors into account. There is no formula—no mechanical combination of test scores and grades that guarantees admission. We look at and value applicants' entire application, from personal essays to teacher recommendations to test scores.
All applications must be submitted online through the Common Application.
Admission to the university is “need-blind,” which means that applicants are selected on their ability to succeed in and benefit from the programs offered, without regard to an applicant’s ability to pay tuition.
